Dinderbeck Studios is an art and design incubator based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Originally established as a community printshop and artist collective, Dinderbeck has evolved to support creators across a diverse range of disciplines.
The core “DB” icon was designed with intentional ambiguity, its forms subtly mirroring the reversed imagery inherent to traditional printmaking. Additionally, the mark serves as a printer’s chop, authenticating the work produced within the studio. The accompanying sub-icons—a brayer, teapot, blade, and camera—represent the various disciplines and creative ventures housed at Dinderbeck, drawing inspiration from historical merchant and craft guilds.
