The Near & Far project consisted of exhibition branding, web design, and package design. Completed in 2020 during COVID-19 social distancing, the project connected multiple artists from across the world for both a virtual exhibition website and a series of asynchronous exhibitions through an international print exchange.
The design choices, featuring a fluid transition across a circular shape, represent a global transition, while dynamic arrows evoke an unsettling, chaotic environment, balanced by typographic lines that provide stable intentionality. In the web design, the continuous scroll reflects modern social media feeds, while the package design for the print exchange utilizes a Turkish map fold, reflecting the intercontinental sharing of ideas.
